Pedro Savino (Pedro) Hello!I'm the founder and producer of ORUBE GAME STUDIO, Pedro Savino.We are Brazilian indie game companies, and the other day we were able to release this work, our largest project.
This work is a 2D action that requires a metroidvanian style -style operation with a system like an old -fashioned arcade game, and supports Nintendo Switch (overseas)/PC/Mobile.
My favorite games are Super Nintendo "Super Mario World" and "Rockman X2", both of which are masterpieces that are still fading.
――Why did the development of this work begin?
The character called Pedro Mombo was born in my graduation project.Since then, I have been using this character and have increased my game development ability.After releasing some games (especially "Adventure LLAMA", we decided to start a big project using a monbo with several friends.Then, three years ago, the development of this work started.
―― Please tell me the characteristics of this work.
PEDRO This work combines arcade games and metroidvania genres to focus on high -speed combo systems and crazy stunts.Perhaps the difference from other games is that pace.Players can make quick and happy and clever movements, combining them with the combo system, making them more challenging and dynamic.Oops, and monbo is also characteristic.It is our mascot character that is very cute and interesting.
――What kind of person do you want to play this work?
PEDRO This work is a work that attracts various people.Even those who want to spend time searching and discovering slowly, and those who like quick action will enjoy it.In particular, what we want you to play is the speed runners!I would like to see the play of people who keep trying to clear the game as soon as possible.
――Are there any works influenced by this work?
PEDRO This work is influenced by several masterpieces.The difficulty of "SUPER MEAT BOY" and the cuteness of "Kirby of the Stars".It is also influenced by the way of fighting "Shovel Knight" and Sonic, and of course I have the influence of "Super Mario World".
――Do you plan to support this work?
There is a PEDRO plan!I hope we can respond soon.
――How had the new Coronavirus on development?
However, the impact of the new Corona on the economy was large, and the development costs were increased.
